Nursery Newsletter 04.10.24

Hello everyone,

What a quick, fun-filled week it’s been!

Upcoming Events
Please have a look at the parent calendar, available on our Netherlee Website, to see all the dates and times of the various events coming up.  This link will take you straight there https://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/er/sandnc/calendar. If you are having problems viewing the calendar, you can change the view by selecting view week/month/agenda at the top right and change to view by agenda where you will then see a list of events.

Parent Council Meeting Highlights
Thank you to the Parent Council for producing the latest Meeting Highlights Newsletter.  As always, we had a very productive meeting and the highlights can be found here: 4th September Meeting Highlights.

Planting
We were so fortunate to be able to join in with our school Pupil Parliament Day of Climate Action on Thursday. All children had the opportunity to plant bulbs in our planters. We look forward to watching these grow over time and brightening up our spring mornings. A huge thank you to Mrs Toman, Helen Cross, Angela Smith (RHS) and the P7 Eco and Sustainability Group for including us in this whole school community event.  Please have a look at our X feed to see a snapshot of a fabulous day @sand_nc.

SIMOA
You may remember that a few weeks ago I explained about SIMOA, our purple elephant who reminds us about safety. We constantly look for ways to keep all of our children safe and would therefore ask that when entering or exiting nursery you don’t let other parents or carers in or hold the door open. I know that this may seem rude to others but we really need to keep a check on who is entering or exiting our nursery. Thanks for helping us to keep everyone safe.

Book Sale
Please see the letter regarding our upcoming Book Sale.

We hope you have a lovely weekend with your family.
