Sports Week
Our annual sports week is fast approaching and we have already started to make plans to ensure this is a fun and exciting week for all children involved. We have been very lucky in previous years that parents and carers have come in to deliver sports sessions and presentations to make this a very memorable week.
If you have experience of coaching or participating in a sport, dance or any area of physical and mental wellbeing (Yoga, Pilates, Meditation) or you have links with a local club or group, Mrs Linn would love to hear from you! You could even come in to share a sport or activity from a different country! Please email SchoolMail@netherlee.e-renfrew.sch.uk at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your continued support.
Planned Menu Change – Thursday 22nd May
Please find attached our planned menu change for Thursday 22nd May. The allergy information is included to enable your child to select a suitable option. However, if you require further allergy or dietary information, please contact your catering team via the school office. If you have completed a lifestyle meal request form a suitable alternative will be provided.
School and Nursery Photographs
If you have ordered photographs, these will be sent home with your child today. If your child is not in school or nursery, the photographs will be sent home as soon as they are back in. Thank you.
Primary 1: Trip
Information was sent home to parents.
Primary 5a: BIG Question: How did Scottish people live in the past?
As part of your child’s learning, they would like to make models of castles. If you have any recycling materials or cardboard (cereal boxes, shoeboxes etc.) the children and I would love to take them to help us with this. We are planning to do this on Tuesday 13th May so anything you can donate will be much appreciated. Many thanks for your continued support.
WWHS Induction Days: 21st and 22nd May
Letter sent to parents regarding the upcoming induction days. Please note, Netherlee staff will not be in attendance on these days and families are required to make their own travel arrangements to and from Williamwood.

Reminder of Holiday Dates
The school and nursery will be closed on Friday 23rd May and Monday 26th May. Nursery will reopen at 8am on Tuesday 27th May.
