Remember, Remember the Blog for November!

Hello, hello… anyone out here?

Well, if you are, make a cup of tea, take a seat and read on to discover what we have been up to over the last few weeks.

Maths:

We have started looking at decimals; tenths and hundredths. We also looked at Data Handling and found out what the Mean, Mode and Range meant. We looked at rounding numbers to the nearest 100, 1 000 and 10 000. We worked on Algebra and completed a unit on equations. We have also completed lots of Arithmetic activities.

It was all very exciting!

Language

In Language this month, we looked at direct speech, adverbial phrases, subjects and objects. We wrote excellent reports on St. Cadoc’s and about Food Safety/ Hygeine.

We wrote Haikus.

They were all about Autumn.

Excellent, they were!

RE

We continued with the Pope Francis Faith Award. We delivered presentations to our classmates about aspects of our hobbies. Mr McLaughlin said that they were excellent!

We wrote the names of family and friends who have passed away and remembered them in our daily prayers. As part of L’Datto Si, we conducted a litter pick around our school community and managed to fill SIX bin bags of rubbish!

IT

We did some coding and also used our IT skills to research St Cadoc’s for our reports.

ART

We drew some amazing portraits and focused on line and shade.

Next stop… Christmas!

As always, keep an on Twitter for up to the minute news and photos!
