Naomi- In the creative station we are to draw a space picture and I drew one with the planets and the sun and stars.

Matthew- We finished off our big questions about astronauts and the different planets in our solar system. I enjoyed creating a poem to remember the order of the planets.

Michael- I liked the science centre. There was a body parts sections, you had to take the organs out. There was also magnets and you had to put them in a weird shape. There was a soft play and there were sideways houses also a water bit to play in. My favourite part was the dance floor.

Francesca- We made portholes out of paper plates and paints. We stuck the two paper plates together and stickers and drawings inside.

Georgia- We designed some butterflies and then camouflaged them about the room.

Rory- In my maths we have been learning staircase division and using remainders. When we were at the science centre there were 3 floors, my favourite floor was the top floor the body floor.

Louise- We’ve made some space leaflets and used the chrome books to search facts to put in our leaflets. We then decorated them and drew some space pictures.

Mia- in my group we have been learning division and remainders. We have maths stations, we can do different activates at the maths stations. I enjoy the maths board games.

Carson- We made some crosses to put on our window and the sun has been shining through! At maths we’ve been doing staircase division with remainders. If you’ve done well Miss Hillhouse will give you challenge questions. I like the challenge questions.

Kye- We have been learning about sea creatures. The biggest octopus is 9 meters long, the same length as our classroom. Sea turtles can hold their breath for 5 hours and breathe the same air as humans.
