This afternoon, we made 3D shapes using Play-Doh and spaghetti. Through this we could physically identify the properties of the shapes. Some people even measured using their ruler to make sure the sides were equal. Well done everyone!

We had another great morning at Forest School. The remaining groups made their shelters taking tips on board from the previous groups on how to be successful! 👏🏻

Thanks to the Mini Vinnies who helped us mark the Jubilee Year. We participated in prayer and completed our own door of hope.
This morning we had Mrs Downey and Miss Pollock visit Primary 7 to answer any questions we may have about going to St Luke’s. Some great questions were asked and we all left excited for going to High School!
This week at Forest School we were building shelters that had to survive wind and rain. Great effort everyone!
The Stewards of Creation showed the school how much food the school is wasting, by dumping it on tarpaulin and the amount of food was huge. They even told us that if they put the amount of food we wasted for a month on the ground it would fill the whole playground.
The Head of the Maths Department in St Luke’s, Mr Berry, Came to P7b to teach us about fractions and different methods to add and subtract fractions. He also brought the Deputy Head Boy at St Luke’s ,Thomas, to help him out.
This term we are looking at problem solving and the first example was a football league table.
