We have been learning about similes and metaphors in class. Yesterday we worked in pairs to sort given similes and metaphors under the correct heading.

We were set a design challenge by Mrs Houston in the assembly last week. We had to design a poster illustrating what courage means to us. Have a look at our work:

Every Friday afternoon, we each get the opportunity to write something positive and kind about a classmate. We don’t know who we will be writing about until we get handed a piece of paper with a name. It felt great hearing something positive about ourselves. The perfect end to a week of hard work and the best start to the weekend.
