Apple Tasting

There were four different apples one Royal Gala another Braeburn the next Granny Smith and last but not least Golden Delicious

We tasted them all and chose our favourite. This is the results:

French conversations

 

Alfie said he liked talking in french.

Poppy said she liked talking to Alfie.

Jack said it was fun talking to Megan on a whitebord.

Megan said she liked writing in french.

Anise said we had a conversation.

Fionn said we drew a big speech bubble and wrote speech in it.

Imogen said we wrote ‘Bonjour comment t’appelle tu? Je mappelle Niko. Et toi? Je mappelle  Imogen.’

Niko said it was so much fun.

Parent workshop

A big thank you to all the parents who came to the Learning Workshop. The children loved sharing their learning.

Reece’s mum said the smells stinks.

Niko & Saskia’s mum said that she was amazing.

 

Jack & Callum’s dad said his favourite box was the lego box.

Emilo’s dad said he liked drawing Reece.

Max’s mum said it was fun.

Kaden & Freya  said it was fun

Kayla’s gran said she liked the optical illusions.

Megan’s mum said she did not like the smell.

Olivia’s dad she was really good at matching them.

 

Max’s mum said that the hardest smell was the smell of the acorn.

 

The children are busy investigating.

Niko’s mum said she really enjoyed the guessing game.

Alfie’s mum said it was good fun and she enjoyed it.

Imogen’s dad said he hated the smells, all of them except number 5.

Friday Chill Out

 

Chilling out on Friday afternoon.

The children are tired and with so many coughs and colds going about I thought  they deserved some chill out time 🙂

 

 

 

The girls made all the dominoes fall over.

 

Max and Ethan chose to play Cool Maths Games.

 

 

The boys loved composing with the Ipads.

 

 

Poppy LOVES creativity.

Senses-Finding out what it must be like to be blind

Emilio, Kaedyn and Alfie were playing football

with their eyes shut.

Freya  got her guide to try to help her get across the rope lader.

Cassie was trying to balance on the beam while olivia was guiding Cassie.

Anise hit the shuttelcock and had to find it with her feet.

Max was balancing on the beam whilst blindfolded.

Callum was playing football blind folded. He was the goal keeper and had to feel where the ball was.

Alfie and Ethan were climbing with their eyes closed It was challenging.

Kayla, Anise, Freya and Olivia were climbing and it was scary.

 

Zak was climbing with his eyes shut. He said it was harder coming down.

Teamwork Tuesday

Fearless Theatre Group came to work with the children

 

They had a body and voice warm up game.

The activities promoted teamwork and resilience.

Each group had to create a letter of the alphabet.

Each group shared a situation like a disagreement.

They had to strike a resilience pose 🙂

Mindfulness Monday

The children were each given a raisin to use to explore our senses.

Our group were sniffing a raisin .

Our group was tasting it. They thought that it tasted good.

We were tasting it. It tasted sweet.

Our group was tasting , looking and smelling it.

P4B was imagining a treehouse in their brain.

Megan and Jack w said it was quiet and enjoyable.

Kayden and Freya said it was fun.

We also enjoyed mindfulness colouring.
