Jellyfish:)

In Art, primary 3 were focusing on the visual element ‘pattern’.

‘The pattern that I put on my jellyfish had bright colours’ Daisy

‘A pattern is when a design is repeated’ Ava Ross

‘We can create a pattern with colours and shapes’ Jessica

Tesselation!

Primary 3 have started our new interdisciplinary topic Life Below Water- Global Goal 15.

We have been learning about tiling patterns in Numeracy and decided to use this pattern on our fish for our IDL display. We used 2D shapes and paints to make the patterns more colourful!

A tiling pattern is when 2D shapes fit together without leaving any gaps.  (Ava R)
