An exciting week in Primary 1.

This has been a very busy and exciting week in Primary 1. The week began with a visit from Generation Science where we learned all about magnets. This was really interesting and enjoyed by everyone. Next, we had our class mass. We learned 2 new hymns and, through preparing for and celebrating this mass, we had the opportunity to reflect on all the different talents that God gave us, each of which makes us unique. After our mass, we had some nursesĀ from The University of West of Scotland. They taught us all about the importance of hand washing and how to wash our hands thoroughly. Then, we had a visitor from the SSPCA. We learned all about how to take care of animals, what to do if we saw an animal in danger and the importance of looking after our wildlife. Finally, on Friday, the Zoo Lab came in to visit. Everyone was very brave, and some were even brave enough to hold a snake, cockroach, millipede and a rat! Thank you to all our amazing visitors – what an exciting week!science sspca visitoes-5 visitors visitors-2 visitors-3 visitors-4
