Welcome to November’s blog. The children have been busy bees this month – have a look and see what they got up to.
Subitising
Subitising is recognising small quantities without counting. Games involving a dice are a great way to support this skill. The children are getting quicker at shouting out the number as they recognise the dot patterns!

Practising our number recognition and sequencing. Can you do it in 30 secs, 1 minute or 3 minutes? Lots of excitement and shouting as they raced against the sand timers!

Outdoors
The children are continuously busy, learning and developing their skills in the outdoor area.
We have recently got new suits for so hopefully that will cut down all your washing!ย Thank you for your patience.

Children in Need
We celebrated Children in Need in the nursery . The children could dress up in their pyjamasย or wear something Pudsey themed. Weย took part in some Pudsey games in the gym hall.

Fire Brigade
We had a visit from the local Fire Brigade and got the opportunity to sit in the fire engine. We had a shot of the hose and had great fun soaking Miss Miller as she was taking photos.

Achievements ๐
Congratulations to …….

Remember to sign up for our Christmas markets on the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th December. Sign up sheets are on our outside notice board . The children have been very busy this month making their Christmas crafts.
As we come into the winter months , please can you make sure your child has a hat and some gloves (labelled with their name) in their bag if they wish to go outside.
Love,
Mrs McLean and Miss Miller
