On Thursday 14th May, our P7 Young Sports Leaders organised and ran a mini sports day for all primary 1 children. The leaders did a fantastic job and have now qualified as Young Sports Leaders.
The primary 1 boys and girls had a lovely morning trying out all 12 sports challenge stations and they earned lots of points for their houses as they took part. House points were issued by our sports leaders to children who tried very hard, cheered for their team and showed good sportsmanship.
The points for each of the scoring stations were added up and the winning teams were awarded bonus house points. In 1st place and winning 300 points for their house was Baird 2. Murray 1 came 2nd winning 200 points and in 3rd was Burns 1 who won 100 points for their house.
Thank you and well done to all of our P1 pupils and the P7 Young Leaders for working so hard.
