Foundation Apprenticeships

Foundation Apprenticeships create better links between young people, education and employers and better prepare young people for the world of work.

S5/6 pupils have the opportunity to choose from a range of Foundation Apprenticeship frameworks.  While the young person attends school they will also attend college and spend time with employers gaining relevant experience in the world of work.

East Renfrewshire Council works in partnership with Glasgow Kelvin College, City of Glasgow College, Glasgow Clyde College, South Lanarkshire College and West College Scotland to deliver the Foundation Apprenticeship programme.
