Maths Week

We celebrated maths week from home, due to the strike days, but we continued the celebrations today. We enjoyed playing maths games, sorting items by size, making patterns, measuring lengths and completing measure challenges. Some children even worked together to create a tower that was taller than me, Mrs Russell!

We had lots of fun extending our maths skills!

iPlay – Outdoors

Today we went outside to collect different types of leaves. We discussed the colour changes in autumn. We then showed this by labelling the leaves. We also collected something we found interesting and shared why we thought it was interesting.

iPlay – outdoors

We Have been having lots of fun working with other children and enjoying  the Different iPlay experiences.

I have been outdoors for the last few weeks. We enjoyed collecting nice letter objects, playing in the woods, measuring sticks, creating outdoor artwork and exploring!

Measure

The Triangles and Squares Maths groups have been learning about measuring. Last week, we looked at how to measure using a ruler. Today, we looked at measuring with a metre stick. We had lots of fun measuring different items, including ourselves! 📏🌟

*If your child’s face is blanked out, it is because the school have not received their  photo permissions slip. I think the office are waiting on hire a few still.
