We really enjoyed being outdoors and celebrating being Scottish during our Forest School session today. We started off by making our own haggis using balloons and natural materials. We then played hide the haggis and had a haggis hunt. At snack time, we all enjoyed eating some shortbread. After break, we prepared a Scottish dinner for Robert Burns. We used tools to peel carrots (sticks). We then built a pretend fire using sticks and we made haggis and cake in the mud kitchen. We enjoyed the gooey mud! We also tried our sit spot activity again and connected with nature.
