Harvest

One of our visiting ministers, Pauline, visited us to teach us about harvest.

She talked about types of foods that are harvested and we shared what foods we like and disliked. She told us the importance of loving and caring for everyone and it is important to help others and we can do that by contributing to our school food bank. She shared the story of โ€œRuth and Boazโ€ and we all joined in by rolling food tin cans to each other ย when heard the word โ€œrollโ€. ย The last person collected the tin cans which will be donated to our food bank.

PE

In PE we are learning about different ball skills. We are focusing on how to stop a ball using either the sole or the inside of our foot. As well as how to pass the ball sensibly to our friend by kicking it. ย โšฝ๏ธ

Maths game

R created his own counting game this morning. He designed a rainbow board where players walked along the rainbow, hoping to get to the pot of gold. The first to reach the gold was the winner. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ†

He enjoyed showing his game to his friends and they enjoyed playing it. ๐Ÿ’œ

Maths Week

We celebrated maths week from home, due to the strike days, but we continued the celebrations today. We enjoyed playing maths games, sorting items by size, making patterns, measuring lengths and completing measure challenges. Some children even worked together to create a tower that was taller than me, Mrs Russell!

We had lots of fun extending our maths skills!
