Here’s some extra pictures of our week! For values play we played hop scotch!

Here’s a wee glimpse into our busy day today! We practiced our tricky words during active phonics! During maths some of us were learning about right angles… we managed to find so many in our own classroom I wonder if anyone can find any in their own homes?? Some of us were learning about millilitres and litres, we were estimating the capacity of different objects and testing out how much water they hold.

Twinkle left us an instruction to sprinkle his magic dust over these plastic coins and wait one sleep… he had turned them into chocolate coins!

Hi everyone, a great end to a busy week! Today we caught our elf claiming star of the week for himself!!! We joined a Giglets story telling session, where we listened to a story all about a lonely unicorn. We were also brainstorming and planning ideas for our air bee n bees. We worked so well in our teams and started to construct a rest place for the bees using toilet roll tubes.

We are approaching the end of our time topic, we had so much fun trying to beat each other’s top score! We have been working super hard to tell half past and oclock times and we have finally mastered it! Well done p2.5

Our elf was super cheeky yesterday stealing sweets from our class advent calendar!! But today he decided to bring us a lovely … melted gift😦

Our class elf Twinkle arrived late to our class today! He had decorated the class room over the weekend and left us an advent calendar!! He left primary 2.5 a letter explaining that if we can follow the school values until the end of December he will drop off some presents for us and he will make Miss Kelly host a movie day in school! He doesn’t believe we will be able to follow his rules but I think we can prove him wrong …

A sneak preview of our Nativity song! We have been practicing so hard and can’t wait to show everyone our song and dance moves. We have also been learning about time during maths, today we were practicing writing digital time and showing this on a clock face!

Primary 2 have been practicing their social dance skills just in time for the festive period!
