Today we were using movie clips to inspire us to write interesting sentences! 

We have been learning about the religion of Christianity. We learned that Christian believe that God made the world in 7 days. We made creation wheels to help us remember what they believe he made on each day. 

Today we shared our animations with our partners. So far we have learned how to make characters move, grow bigger and smaller, added sound and new pages using Scratch Jr. 

Today we took a virtual trip to the theme park and then we collected and displayed information on a bar graph about our favourite rides! The most popular ride was a rollercoaster and the least popular was a ferris wheel.

In class we have been reading The BFG and we learned that the BFG catches dreams. Today we decided to create our own dreams using Scratch. We will be using the animation we created to help us write some imaginative stories this week!

On Friday we did some writing about our summer holidays. We enjoyed sharing our experiences and discussing how they made us feel.

We had a fantastic start to primary 2 yesterday. We enjoyed telling Mrs Simpson all about ourselves and loved exploring our new classroom. Lots more pictures to come on our blog of all of the wonderful learning we will be doing in p2!
