Class pictures of the first day!

Various play throughout October!
One of our favourite activities during play was creating our very own castle for our role play area. It even turned into a haunted castle for Halloween! It has now turned into a bakery for the next two weeks before it takes on a new theme for Christmas!

Teddy Bears’ Picnic!
A few weeks ago we were learning to write a list using numbers. We had to write a list of everything we needed for our teddy’s bear’s picnic. Unfortunately we had to have it indoors due to the rain but we still had lots of fun in the gym hall eating our snacks, singing songs and playing games. Our favourite game was ‘Teddy Teddy Bear’ instead of ‘Duck Duck Goose’.

Library Trip!
Our trip to the library a few weeks ago! We especially loved playing on the magic carpet.

Gastronomers- Mearns Masters
Today we started our next block of Mearns Masters cooking in the kitchen. We made smoothies using various fruits and water. We learned the claw cut and the bridge cut and successfully used these techniques to help us to prepare the fruit for our smoothies. Some people loved them but others weren’t so keen… as you might be able to tell from the pictures!
