Today we read the story ‘Stick Man’ and went to the forest to find our own stick character for story writing. We took our character on an adventure and then went back to the classroom to plan our story.

Last week we were learning about symmetry and so we decided to make symmetrical patterns on our Christmas bauble bagels on Monday! We were also discussing cutting the vegetables and bagels in half. Great work boys and girls!

On Monday we enjoyed learning the skills of mixing and mashing in the kitchen to make our banana, oat and chocolate chip cookies. There were mixed reviews on the outcome but we had fun making them😂.

Today we started doing work to redecorate our role play area for Christmas. We used oil pastels to recreate a winter window scene. They look fantastic! Well done boys and girls!

Our pizzas we made today in the kitchen. We practised cutting various toppings for our pizza and enjoyed eating them when they were ready.

We went to the woods this week to collect some materials to help us add. Now we can tackle more challenging calculations. Good job everyone!
