As part of our numeracy and maths we have been leaning about pattern and symmetry. For our Wednesday outdoor learning this week, we visited the woods to see what patterns we could create outdoors!

We collected lots of natural  items from the woods to make our patterns and enjoyed experimenting with different creations!

We even had a go at creating some symmetrical pictures using sticks, leaves, rocks and pinecones.
