This was a tricky challenge but we worked together to problem solve. We didn’t give up when our bridges collapsed!

Mrs Mantle was very impressed with our structures and they all managed to hold two trains.

“It was hard to build. We had to destroy it 4 times but we finally made a bridge in the end!” Ana

We have learned all about the mummification process! We acted out each of the steps so that we could remember the order that things happened.

“We can use metre sticks, measuring tapes and rulers to measure different things” Abigail

“We would use a metre stick to measure bigger things and rulers to measure smaller things. “Max

“We could use the measuring tape to measure our bodies as it could go round our wrist” Phoebe

“You need a measuring tape if you are measuring clothes like a kilt or a dress for a wedding” Ellie

“You have to count the little lines very carefully to measure right” Ellie

Polar Fact Hunt

“We had to read lots of facts hidden around the classroom. ” Max

We then had to choose 2 or 3, put them into our own words and then present them in an engaging way on our polar bears.

I can use charcoal and chalk to create a polar bear.I tried to make it look 3D.
