Book Week Scotland 2017

To celebrate Book Week Scotland 2017,  the children had a visit from a wonderful storyteller called Gerry Durkin.

Puppet Show

Thank you Primary 7.1 for writing your own script, creating and designing props and for performing a fantastic Puppet Show for our class.

        

“The start of the show was funny when all the puppets jumped up” – Emily

“I liked the parrot puppet, he made me laugh” – Austin

“The puppet show was really funny. The parrot squawked and copied what the P7 girls said” – James

“We were all shouting BOO!  to the evil puppet called Dr Boom” -Cara

Try a Sport Week 2017

As part of Try a Sport Week, Primary 2.1 were learning about yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques.

   

“Yoga helped us to feel calm” – Finlay

“I liked the relaxation part when we were quiet and still”- Archie

   

The children also had an opportunity to learn new skills in Handball. They passed a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team.
