Fantastic Gymnastics
Scots Verse
We have been learning new vocabulary, stories and poems this month. We all chose a favourite poem to learn and recite to our class.
Three winners from each class performed confidently to the whole school on the stage with a microphone…
Congratulations to Max, Nina and Miles and well done to the rest of the class who enjoyed exploring scots language.
Beware! There are dinosaurs around the village!
Primary 1 have been learning some intersting vocabulary and facts about the different types of dinosaurs. We have learned about carnivores and herbivores, taken notes while watching and listening for useful information and then made Fact Files to share our learning.

Jingle Bells! It’s Christmas!
Stick Man Fun and Finger Painting!
Enterprising Actors
Primary 1 have been very busy writing to local businesses to ask for donations for hosting a tea, coffee and ‘sweet treat’ for parents and carers as part of our ‘Nativity’ experience.
A huge thanks to Morrisons Giffnock, Coop Clarkston, Scotmid and Eaglesham Bakers. P1 & P2 have been busy making cakes and biscuits. We are hoping that ‘donations’ will be plentiful. All donations will be given to Glasgow Children’s Hospital.
Dress Rehearsal | Twinking Stars |
Nursery to P7 came to see us perform ‘The Very Hopeless Camel’ Macy was a very bright star indeed. | It was a happy ending when they found the very special baby! |
We worked together to get the job done. | Working as hard as Santa’s elves! |
We had to tie our hair back and wear aprons. | We had to gather the ingredients and listen carefully for instructions. |
