Here are some comments we received about our S6 community involvement students.

 

Veronica has good attendance, always punctual, lovely manners. Uses own initiative, a pleasure to have in class.

 

Elise attends regularly, on time and displays a great enthusiasm working with pupils, demonstrates good initiative when supporting their learning.

 

Alice is a very mature young lady and an outstanding volunteer. Our pupils have very complex needs and Alice is able to meet their needs appropriately, using their own initiative when necessary. Alice is never fazed by the wide range of conditions and needs of our pupils and undertakes all activities asked of her. She is a skilled communicator and communicates effectively with staff, pupils and volunteers.

 

I have Morna with me in music and I have to say she is an absolute superstar. She could easily take my S1 class and she is happy to organise and teach elements to small groups, the children respond to her so well. Her communication skills are outstanding and if she has always informed me if she is unable to attend, which is very, very rare.

Chantelle is a very reliable and has been turning up consistently to read with one of my S3 pupils- she is great.

 

Kristopher is superb! Really hard working, keen to lend a hand around the classroom and he has developed a great relationship with some of the pupils.

Jack is a fantastic help in the classroom.

Emma is a delightful student, she is great with S1. She is always very organised.

Amit is a great student, always on time, does a great job, very helpful and most importantly, pupils are comfortable in asking him questions.

Nicola is a fabulous student and a great help with our photography club- a real star.
