Today, we came back from lunch for our Science and Technologies lessons to find this in our classroom!
Humpty Dumpty needed our help! We discussed what happens to Humpty Dumpty in the nursery rhyme and wondered if there would be a different ending if he landed on a different material.
Below you can see us investigating a variety of materials and discussing what would happen if we used them!
Joshua Brown and Dawud thought that the pebbles were hard and would break Humpty.
Libby and Millie thought the bubble wrap was soft and squishy and Humpty might pop the bubbles but he would not break.
Edwin and Oliver thought the feathers would be a soft landing for Humpty but that they might tickle him!
Next, we will make predictions on what the materials will do to Humpty when he lands and put these to the test in our experiment!
Stay tuned!
