This week, Primary 3 have been collecting cardboard, toilet rolls, tin foil, string and flags to help us build a castle. We have been put into groups of 4 or 5 to try and work together to design a castle using all of the resources above. Before joining our group, we each drew a design of what we thought our castle should look like. We then shared our ideas with the group and decided upon a design. Then we needed to work out who was going to bring in all the materials that would help build the castle.

This afternoon, we are going to start building our castles in our groups and if we need more time, we will finish them off tomorrow during topic time.

We all can’t wait until we go to Stirling Castle next Tuesday with the P5 class. We have learnt so much about castles during our topic of Scotland that we would all like to see and look around a real one!!
