Homework for Week Beginning 29th April

Thanks to children and parents for doing such a good job with our first online set of homework tasks!

We are now going to stick to posting homework sheets in pdf format as this seems to suit everyone best.  Click on the links below to see this week’s homework.

Spelling words are in the jotters as usual.

More Information About Homework

We have had a couple of questions about homework, so hopefully this post will help clarify some issues.

Do we need to print and return the Task Sheet?

No – not unless you have something specific that you want to tell us. The Task Sheet is just an overview of tasks to be attempted.  We have put traffic lights on it in case any of the children have found something difficult.  If you do want to let us know about any issues or concerns, feel free to either return the Task Sheet with traffic lights and a comment, or else just write us a note.

Is part of the Maths Grid  missing?

We have checked the Maths Grid and it all seems to be there.  If you can’t see it properly, try these two possible solutions:

  • If a button labelled Enable Editing comes up at the top of the page, click it.
  • OR… Click the View tab at the top of the screen, then select Edit Document.

Perhaps giving you the option to download pdf versions of the files is another way to solve this problem.   Here are some links to these.

Hope that helps!

Homework for Week Beginning 15th April and Week Beginning 23rd April

Welcome to our new online homework format!  All the links you need are below.

We are planning a spelling test soon, so Spelling will just be revision for the next two weeks.  Your child will tell you which Spelling group he or she is in so that you can choose the correct word lists to practise.

We are also trying out a new way of doing Maths homework; we hope that it will give the children (and their families!) a little more choice and flexibility.
