Primary 2 are celebrating the end of their mini-election this afternoon with a post-election party. (If the photo is a little fuzzy it is because we are very enthusiastic about our dancing!)
We formed parties with cool logos and slogans and decided what our policies would be. Then we created manifestos and elected party leaders by thinking very hard about the things we would most like to happen in Kirkhill Primary. Here are some of the children showing off the rosettes for their parties!
On Thursday we had a secret ballot to vote for our favourite candidates.
On Friday the results were in!
Ms Edmonstone came to announce the winners. The Trusted Party from 2b won! Some of us really liked their manifesto so we voted for them.
We have all learned so much about elections. When we are old enough to vote we will know exactly what to do!
