School Show Application 2020

Welcome to our Class Blog. Our teachers are Mrs Sammeroff & Mrs Menzies :)

Well done to this weeks handwriting hero IH!

Please see homework attached, you will notice there have been some small changes.
I hope everyone has had a good week back, I enjoyed hearing everyone’s news.
Pupils were excited to find out our new topic is the Titanic, we started by watching a short video and sequencing the events of the Titanic’s journey

I was impressed by how much grammar pupils had remembered, we classified words and built sentences containing different word types:

In maths one group has made a 3D shape poster, another group revised their knowledge of fractions through active games and the other group explored the language of division (to be continued)

Welcome back and a happy new year to everyone, we hope all p4 pupils and their families had an enjoyable winter break. During our first week back there will be no homework issued, homework will start again on the week beginning 13th January.
Here are a few more snaps from the last few weeks
sharing our endangered animal research for our class quiz

Working hard on our Matisse style collages

A special visit from the SPCA

Revising our Scottish country dancing steps

Unfortunately it was too icy for outdoor PE week so we did some just dance in the classroom

I thought I would watch Elf when everyone went home, great movie! I learned a lot from you endangered animal map then I had a reciprocal reading session with the class reading monsters!

enjoying our party afternoon yesterday, check out our musical statues!

I love p4As abstract Henri Matisse style collages, I had fun working out what endangered animals you had represented. Then I built myself a little house!

I’m back! P4a have made a super effort cleaning up their resources!
