Marble Run – Science Week

As part of  British Science Week Primary 4 were challenged to create a marble run. They had to use a cardboard box and cardboard struts to create a marble run. The marble had to run for 60 seconds.

Pancake Day

On Pancake Day we got to make Fairtrade pancakes. We put on lots of Fairtrade toppings like bananas, jam, sugar and  honey.

The other two Primary 4 classes made the pancakes with us and they where delicious.

Art: Africa Poster

In class we have been learning about Africa, how we could travel, food, animals and local clothing. We used the laptops and Chromebooks to help us get information to make a poster.

Titanic

In Social Studies we have been learning about the Titanic. We learned lots about it including how the Titanic sank, how it was made and how many people were on the ship.

“l really liked it and loved the school trip about it” – Ava, Matthew, Abdullah.

Gymnastics Rolls

In gymnastics we were learning to follow rules and instructions. To do this we did teddy bear rolls, log rolls and forward rolls.

Africa

In topic we have been learning about Africa in class. We learned about different countries in Africa and what to take on safari. We also learned some facts about Africa such as the houses are made from cows dung.You need sunglasses and a hats for a safari. Countries in africa include Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Senegal and Madagascar. The biggest mountain in Africa is Kilimanjaro. It Is very hot in africa. We have also been making leaflets.
