Reading Project
For homework we would like you to choose a fictional book and start to read it throughout the week. You should continue to read it over the next few weeks. By Friday 20th September, you should have designed a front cover for your project and completed at least 5 additional tasks of your choice from the ‘Independent Reading Activity Sheet’. Be prepared to share information about your book.

We have been very busy this week.
Below are some of the activities we have been involved in…
- Playing ‘Do as I say, not as I do’
- Making class rules and designing posters
- Mental Mathematics Bingo and Countdown
- Writing an acrostic poem
- Reach for the stars – artwork showing our hopes and dreams for the future
- Writing all about ourselves
- P.E (on a very windy day!)
The pupils have been working hard to gain house points and also group points.
Every Friday, the group with the most points will be awarded the superhero cushions. Stay tuned to find out who the winners will be!
