For their science topic, primary 6/7 have been learning about chemical reactions. They carried out different experiments and recorded their results in a science experiment write up. Some of the experiments included:

A big well done to our Badminton team from Uplawmoor.
We competed in the cluster challenge and won so then we went through to the East Renfrewshire Finals, in which we came 3rd out of 7. We are very pleased with the result and had a fabulous time!

The triangles have been learning about the properties of 3D shapes. They came together and created their own game which involved matching the 3D shape to its net.
First week back at school and P6/7 have been quite busy already. We have been getting to know each other better and made our class charter. Primary 7 have been helping their buddies in Primary 1 settle in and are doing a great job. We are all looking forward to this year!

Primary 7 have had an absolute blast. They have made many new friends from Neilston and Crookfur Primary and have really enjoyed all the activities. The weather has been perfect, maybe a little too hot today! But overall a great trip away. Now it’s hometime and we are on our way back. Thank you Lockerbie Manor.
