Welcome to EHS History. Here at Eastwood, our young historians are able to get a taste of the subject from Roman times right up to the 1960s.
Why study History?
Studying History allows you to deepen your understanding of the present by examining the events of the past and the impact these events have had on our lives. In your time in the History Department, you will:
- Develop your understanding of the history, heritage and culture of Scotland, and have an appreciation of your local and national heritage within the world.
- Broaden your understanding of the world by learning about human activities and achievements in the past and present.
