Today in maths we played power towers – rounding to the nearest 10, finding the correct time, addition and subtraction with carrying and doubling numbers using number squares.

Primary 3 have been doing lots of research on The Sun, Moon and Stars. This week we worked in groups and began creating our presentations.

Next week primary 3 will complete their research and we are planning to present it to our class. We will invite Mr Curley and Miss McCabe to watch our presentations.

Over the past few weeks we have used sumdog in class and at home to practise our maths skills. We have our own log in and passwords to access our own accounts. You can access sumdog on a website or download the app (it’s free!).

Sumdog is a safe game online and nobody can talk to you. It is only used for learning new skills. We will be using Sumdog in class and at home as maths revision.
