This week we had a chance to round up our RME topic and shared our completed story books and posters with the Primary 2s. We read to them and prepared questions for them to answer.

We also completed our final block of Badminton with a fun and friendly class tournament.

Lastly, today we sent our Crookfur team to the Lord Provost debate. All 3 of our members performed very well. We are proud of our debating team!

Over the last few weeks we have thoroughly enjoyed learning stories from world religions including: Christianity, Islam and Judaism. We have explored the moral of the different stories and trying to link them to life lessons.

We have looked at similarities and differences between these stories across the religions and have been very surprised at how similar things really are. Such as the morals and values.

We have explored:

Adam and Eve (Hawa)

Noah (Nuh pbuh) and the great flood

David and Goliath (Dawud and Jalut)

We have also been extremely lucky to have 2 visitors that have kindly came in to share the story of Abraham. Reverend Lazonby came in to teach us about the story of Abraham while Ibrahim’s dad came in to teach us about the story of prophet Ibrahim (pbuh).
