Outdoor PE
On Monday, we started the week with a session at Eastwood MUGA, participating in a mini rugby tournament organised by their Sports Leaders. We will be taking part in these sessions for the next three weeks.

World Book Day
For World Book Day, we read our picture books to Primary 1 nd 2. Three classes visited our classroom and spent time listening to the stories that we wrote and illustrated.

On Thursday, we completed more World Book Day activities in the morning before our author visit after break. Liz Macintyre told us about her book called “Love Letters from a Desert Rat” which is made up of the letters that her dad (Alec) wrote to her mum (Nan) during World War 2. Liz’s mum had kept the 300 letters a secret until she was very ill and then told her where to find them. There were lots of photographs too.
We also created our own quizzes using our knowledge about books and authors.
