On Monday morning we went over to Eastwood and played football in P.E.. We played 5 aside games of football. And we came back exhausted. Afterwards we wrote letters to characters from our novel. In the afternoon we went down to the playground and we made a miniature house on a bit of paper. And then we made the miniature house into a real life size house. It was really hard.

On Tuesday morning we read our novel with Miss Sime. After break we did some maths . In the afternoon we learnt about humanism. And learnt all about the value of kindness that they put in the centre of their lives. We learnt that they don’t have a specific set of rules but they base it on how others will feel and they’ll try to do what will make others happy. Then we watched a video on what humanists believe in.
On Wednesday morning we did pe for our last block of fitness. There were six plots: sprinting, bench climbers, sit ups, push ups, star jumps, jump station, ladders.it was very tiring! Then we did some maths after break.

In the afternoon we were learning about world war two and about the evacuees leaving the city. We went to 3 different stations. In one we were looking at the positives and negatives of leaving home and in another we thought about what items we would pack if we were them. They had to be small as they only had one small bag. In the final station we made posters encouraging women to go to work or men to go to war. It was really good fun.

On Thursday morning we were doing literacy, we were answering different questions on two texts: Easter island and Global warming. Then after break we had Mrs Hutchison for Spanish. We recapped how to say what the weather is like and we learnt how to say different foods and if you like or dislike them.
In the afternoon we were painting our pots and cups that we’d made out of clay last week. We used lots of different colours and patterns and they all looked awesome by the end of it. We got to take them home at the end of the day to show our families.
On Friday morning we were learning all about magnets and were experimenting and predicting which objects would attract to them. We discovered that some of the same type of coins did different things!

After break we did a bit of maths and then we had assembly. In the afternoon we did a bit of show and tell as some of us had brought in their families world warII historical artefacts like photos, letters and ration books. It was fascinating.
