This week, we explored the celebration of Eid and the traditions involved.

Mosques Around the World

In pairs, we researched a range of different mosques around the world. We presented our findings on Google Slides or created a poster.

Islamic art – Tessellation

With Mrs Lamont, we followed a step-by-step video to create Islamic designs and patterns.

Finally, we enjoyed cooking pakora with Mrs Nasar as part of the Eid celebrations!

Welcome to this week’s blog post!

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

We have been enjoying reading out class novel The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. This week, we have been writing diary entries based on a character from the book. The characters included Susan, Peter, Edmund, Lucy and Mr Tumnus.

We created a wardrobe that included our diary entries inside.

We also created leaflets about visiting the Professor’s house. We discussed what there is to see, what time it would open and what it would look like.

We are looking forward to reading more!
