Anywhere Islands

We have been doing a mini project creating our own islands.

We had to imagine we found an undiscovered and uninhabited island. We designed what our island might look like.

We used the Chrome Books and using maps, decided where our island would be located. We described our island using correct terminology like southern/northern hemisphere, equator, which sea and continent is it a part of.

Welcome to P6B!

“This is our first blog of P6. Here’s what we have been doing the last week and a half.”

“We completed a challenge in teams where we had to make the longest paper chain using only 1 sheet of paper.”

“This week we had our first PE sessions, we got put into teams to create our own warm ups and fitness relays.”

“We drew self portraits, one half was ourselves with shading, then the other half was things you really like.”

“We started to create a Class Charter for the walls. We chose a beach theme. We drew crabs, shells, jellyfish and starfish. A Class Charter is to help us understand our rights.”
