We have had another busy week in p6b full of fun, learning and creativity!
We started off our week by sharing our Maths Week homework pictures!

‘We looked for different examples of Maths in our houses and in nature. I found a leaf and a pattern which were symmetrical.!’- Amy

‘We were making a table with cubes and their faces. Then we had to look for pattern to figure out how many faces there would be on cubes.’- Ruby

In Literacy we sorted statements, questions and commands and added the correct punctuation.
We then added these into our writing where we used a picture prompt about an Angry Ant to write an imaginative story!

We designed and created Dragons using junk modelling materials based on our research and descriptions from Harry Potter!

‘Our Dragon was called Bubble Beans, he is a blue bean dragon. We stuck cardboard boxes together, covered them in paper with a design. We put lollipop sticks under the wings so they could stick out and then we stuck it all together. It was fun!’- Callum

‘Our dragon was called George the Swedish Meatball Dragon. His personality is really nice but he has a dark side. Most of his body was made from cardboard and green paper. We made the wings with more cardboard and ice lolly sticks and blue paper. We communicated well as a team and we got the job done.’- Andrew

‘Our Dragon was called Thunder Strike. We made him with our cardboard box and plastic tub. He was fierce and he had electricity in him. We communicated and shared and worked together pretty well!’ Luke

‘Our Dragon was called Draco and he had a Slytherin personality. We used cardboard and we split up the jobs to do different parts. First I made the head then I made the eyes with Inaaya.’ -Emilia

‘Our Dragon was called Bingo the Blue Bottle Dragon and his personality was very kind. Bingo loves wearing weird hats! I made the hat from a cardboard ice cream tub which was a cylinder and added some feathers to the top.’ Rayan
