At assembly we got to sing our songs in fronts of the entire school. We also did our ceilidh dancing and our highland games with our actors who are William Wallace, Robert The Bruce, Mary Queen Of Scots and Rob Roy. The songs we sang are The Jeelie Piece Song, Scotland’s Story, Auld Lang Syne and Caledonia. We also performed in front of our parents. By the end they were all greeting! – Sophie W
Maths
Dedicated Decimals- The dedicated Decimals were multiplying 2 by 3 digit mentally. My brain hurt afterwards. – David
Flawless Fractions- In Maths The Flawless Fractions were time and we were looking at converting hours, minutes and seconds on Monday. And on Thursday we were doing pictograph worksheets and after we made our own pictograph. – Sophie W
Marvellous Multipliers- In Maths we were looking at finding the area of rectangles, squares and triangles. – Miss Kay
Literacy
In literacy we were learning about Scottish words like cannae meaning can not and wean meaning child. We read a piece of text and answered lots of Scottish related questions. We also had a worksheet were we had to work out what a word means and then translate it into English. -Olly
Art
In art we were making silhouettes of famous Scottish landmarks including Ben Nevis and the squinty bridge. So first we started with the background were we could use pencils or chalk to make a sunset. Then we drew are famous landmark on a black piece of paper then cut it out and glued it on. Mine looked amazing.- Lucas
