Writing
In writing we created mind-maps about WW2. Different people focused on different parts of WW2 such as the affects on people and the environment, weapons and machinery and how and why the war started. I learned that the Allies had over 25 million civilian casualties and about 18 million military casualties. – Matthew
To find our information we used info sheets and watched videos on the board. I learned that the war started in September 1939 and it ended in 1945. Germany were attacking Poland and the British Prime Minister told Hitler to draw back his troops but they ignored him so they went to war. – Morven
Social Studies
In Social Studies we got into groups and used our notes from our mind-maps to create posters about our focus. My group drew a huge picture of Hitler and added information on the back about why and how the war started. We created our posters to present them to the class next week. Zunairah

We were discussing with Mrs Nasar what type of people live around us. We talked about old people, young people, teenagers and discussed where we feel safe. – Ethan
