Monday

In the morning we did literacy .In literacy we did comprehension to look at similarities and differences. The texts were about Eastern dragons and western dragons or recipes.

After break we did maths.  In the afternoon we had Mr Atkinson and we had a visitor. She talked to us about her company Viridor.  It turns litter into more useful things.

 

 

Tuesday

In the morning we did some maths. After break we had Mr Atkinson and we did a report on our experiment from last week .Then after lunch we looked at the 1970s clothes and big events from that decade. We learned that the 1970s is when flares became popular and it was the first woman prime minister.

 

Wednesday

In the morning we did a short block of maths then we P.E.. In P.E. we did gymnastics . For gymnastics we split into groups one group did the vault and the other group did balancing. We will swap next week. After break we did writing  about school uniform. After lunch  we learned a 1970s dance. We had to make up dances in groups. We also talked about when money changed in the UK (called decimalisation) and Sophia brought in an old one pound note.

Thursday

In the morning we did literacy for literacy we answered some questions about our reading books. After break we did maths .Then after lunch we showed our 1970s dances to the class.  We recorded them and Mrs Allan is going to try and put them on display using QR codes.  Her dance was impressive.  We also made fashion models for the 1970s.
