Monday

We started off by writing down what we did at the weekend. We did some maths with Mrs Allan and Miss Dearie. Then we did some literacy in our jotters for the first time!

 

Tuesday

We had Mr Atkinson and made front covers for our new IDL jotters about energy sources. We did some maths in our groups, working in jotters and learning some maths games.   `

 

Wednesday

In PE we did different stations and marking off how many we did and next time we will try and beat our target. We did mountain climbers, bench climbers, hoop jumps, ladders and shuttle runs.

 

In French with Miss Dearie we started to learn about the months of the year.

Thursday

We finished our French balloons for the month of the year and our characters. They look great in our classroom. For writing, we started our magical story and described where our characters were. This is called the setting. We could choose our own, or choose from one of the photos that Mrs Allan showed.

 

Friday

We chose our new class jobs and checked the photographs for our blog. In Literacy we did some reading and learned about adverbs and adjectives. We finished some work on our Big Cat books.

Monday

On Monday we went to the S.T.E.A.M room, S.T.E.A.M. means science  ,technology ,engineering ,art and maths .We designed letters for the S.T.E.A.M room for outside the door , with Mr Atkinson.  We did maths and finished our Happy Place triaramas too.

 

Tuesday

On Tuesday we had Mr Atkinson again. We finished our letters and talked about non renewable energy and renewable energy. Non renewable energy is things like coal ,gasoline, oil  and nuclear energy. Renewable energy is things like solar power, natural waste and windmills. We talked about what makes a good friend with Mrs Allan.

Wednesday

On Wednesday we had P.e for the first in the time in the gym hall . we did fitness drills like mountain climbers  , star jumps , hula hooping , bench dips and shuttle runs. We did some spelling and writing about a picture too.  We used BSL and morse code to spell our words.

Thursday

On Thursday we did drama and some maths we got in to groups and did booklets.

Friday

On Friday we did maths in the morning we also  did some I.c.t then we did some spelling and had assembly. In the afternoon we voted for our house captains.
