Class blog- 28th April

On Friday we had an Eid celebration at school. Everyone had an amazing time:

“We got to  come in non-uniform and there was lots of things for us to do, including getting henna done.” Calvin

“We went and got henna. While we waited there was traditional outfits to try on and there was pin the moon on the mosque games. There was also a big piece of paper to write Eid mubarak on. There was a station to design a prayer mat and there was a throwing game.” Lily

“We also did some cooking. We made cookies and fruit chaat. They were very fun to make.” Euan

“We made our own mehndi designs on cut outs of our hands. Then we stuck them to coloured paper.” Harry

“On Tuesday we continued making presentations on technology of our choosing. We had to answer questions like who invented it and when.” Millie

“With Mrs Hobson we cut a hole in a piece of paper the shape of our face and we put all the things that made us a good friend around the cut out. Then we put our faces through the hole.” Sophia

 

Class Blog- 21st April

“On Wednesday we were doing writing. We had to write about our holidays, but we had to lie and make up crazy stuff that we had done.” Katie

“On Thursday we made Eid cards. Lots of people were off celebrating Eid on Friday.” Ross

“Today for our new topic we thought about all the electronics we use every day. Then we looked up facts like how they have changed over the years.” Harry

“On Monday with Ms Doyle we were learning about area and perimeter.” Erin

“We’ve been enjoying the new lunch time rota. We also had an Earth Day lunch on Friday.” Calvin

“This week in maths we were learning about angles. An acute angle is less than 90 degrees, obtuse was between 90 and 180, a right was exactly 90 and a reflex was between 180 and 360.” Roslyn
