On Friday we had an Eid celebration at school. Everyone had an amazing time:
“We got to come in non-uniform and there was lots of things for us to do, including getting henna done.” Calvin

“We went and got henna. While we waited there was traditional outfits to try on and there was pin the moon on the mosque games. There was also a big piece of paper to write Eid mubarak on. There was a station to design a prayer mat and there was a throwing game.” Lily
“We also did some cooking. We made cookies and fruit chaat. They were very fun to make.” Euan

“We made our own mehndi designs on cut outs of our hands. Then we stuck them to coloured paper.” Harry

“On Tuesday we continued making presentations on technology of our choosing. We had to answer questions like who invented it and when.” Millie
“With Mrs Hobson we cut a hole in a piece of paper the shape of our face and we put all the things that made us a good friend around the cut out. Then we put our faces through the hole.” Sophia
