“In Art we made some art for Bonfire Night. We used chalk and crayon to make fireworks. Then we chose a famous building from Glasgow, for our topic. Then we had to trace the building to make a silhouette.” Hadia

“In Maths we learnt about symmetry. We decided in real life it was hard for something to be perfectly symmetrical because there might be a speck of dust on one side. We used mirrors and tracing paper to check if shapes had a line of symmetry.” Millie and Ben

“On Wednesday we wrote about settings in Writing. We had to describe what it was like there to make it spooky. We were really focusing on using great adjectives and other vocabulary.” Katie

“We created some front covers for our John Muir booklets where we are going to store all our John Muir stuff.” Sophia

“In P.E with Mr McMillan we did fitness. We had different stations that improved your fitness. You had a belt that you wore and the other team tried to pull your tag off.” Steven

“We got a letter from someone called James. He was asking us to tell him what school was like in 2022. He told us about school in 80s.” Jad

“Some of us have been to our first committee meeting this week.” Euan

“We worked in groups to make scribble sheets/graffiti walls all about our Glasgow topic. We had to write and draw about our Glasgow topics. Things like olden days fashion, ship yards and tenements and high rises.” Jennah and Harper
