Welcome to our first blog of P5a!

This week on Tuesday we were drawing comic style portraits of ourselves and learning about a famous comic artist called Roy  Licehenstein who was born in 1913.  In 1913 coloured ink came out but it was really expensive so we made his comic art work out of colourful dots.

 

We wrote things about yourself on a flap and then your name on the bottom and we guessed who was who – IR

On Monday we did PE and we had warm uppers and they get to choose a game to start us off. The warm uppers chose “Neymar tig” were everyone has a yellow card and if you got tug you had to sit down and to set someone free you have to say yellow card to them.

In Literacy we were watching a short film called Taking Flight and it was about a little boy called Tony who had to go to his grandad’s house because his dad was working but he didn’t want to go and he found an old wagon so his grandad took him for a ride down his street.At the end it turned out that Tony actually  had an amazing time with his grandad.

In science we had four different stations which were  olden day things, a closer look, Odd One Out and Match the picture, name and description of engineers and scientists.
