As part of our learning of the Vikings we have been investigating their use of Runes as communication. We practised using the runic alphabet and compared this to our own modern English alphabet.

It was great fun creating our own messages using their method and we discovered that the modern symbol used for Bluetooth Wi-Fi was taken from a Nordic Viking prince called Harold Bluetooth.
