We play a game called “Blast” in class. It’s one of the games we play with our spelling words.

“You set a timer for one minute on the class iPad. And you write the word as many times as you can. You play the best of 5. I won.”
We are going to be learning about using a growth mindset to achieve things. What better way to do this practically, than to improve our juggling skills? We had great fun watching our first attempts and thought you would enjoy it too!
We took notes from a BBC documentary about penguins in a polar climate and used another source (a really good book about penguins) to add even more details. Then we turned our notes into a new page in our Animal Adaptations websites.

We were learning about time signatures this week. We used them to play games and we learned a new song too. We practised reading music and drumming along with it.

We had a taster session from a professional Taekwondo coach. We learned new flexibility drills and how to hold a pad safely so that we could practise kicking with each other!

We have been using different Printmaking techniques recently. This one is called a MONOprint because you can only do ONE of them.

We were learning about how to keep safe during Fireworks Night and other outdoor events. We took notes while listening, made those notes into a SAFE and a UNSAFE list and then made a Brickorama to illustrate unsafe behaviour. Then we wrote a report!

We used our TWMTDW skills to work together and create beautiful things.

We have been comparing fractions using visual models. We used < > and = to say whether they were greater than, less than or equivalent.
