Paired Reading

As part of our literacy we are practising our fluency when we read with a partner. We are remembering:

• To stop at full stops
• To use a question voice when there is a question mark
• To use a character voice when we see speech marks
• To use a voice that sounds like we are speaking

Hockey

Our MUGA PE is hockey. We are learning push passing and how to stop the ball with the hockey stick. We played some games against teams and played fair.

Story Writing/Story Telling

This week we tried to include some speech marks in our stories. We practised in pairs. We wrote the story of The Talkative Turtle that we knew really well from telling it to our friends.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

We worked on our teamworking skills when building with Lego. We played Creationary, made hurdles, tricky balance towers and made amazing mazes.
